WE ARE HAPPY TO FEATURE A VERY  SPECIAL COUPLE, FRANCES AND MARY TODD!

Frances was always full of laughter.  He was an active member of Columbia Lodge #44, serving as Master in 1960, and as Secretary for 32 years!  He was also High Priest of the Royal Arch Masons, and a 32nd Degree in Scottish Rite.  He and Mary were Worthy Matron and Worthy Patron of Eastern Star in 1961 and 1987.

Frances served our country as a Marine in WWII and in the Korean War.  Mary also contributed to the war effort by working at Packard Aircraft making P51 fighter jet engines.

Mary and Frances were married on Dec. 12, 1944.  They raised four children and have five grandchildren.  They have a grandson currently serving in Iraq.

Frances died on Dec. 4, 1994; just eight days shy of their 50th Wedding Anniversary.  He was buried in his Marine uniform.

Mary continues to be an important and cherished friend of Columbia Lodge #44.  She faithfully cleans the Lodge and has made many donations to it, including coffee pots and a microwave.  Her unselfish contributions are truly appreciated by all!

SO HATS OFF TO FRANCES AND MARY TODD.  THEY HAVE  HELPED MAKE OUR LODGE AND OUR COUNTRY WHAT IT IS TODAY!
