Ten Basic Questions we Need to ask Ourselves
1). Have you ever wondered why so few members attend Meetings?
2). Do you ask yourself why members fail to pay their Dues?
3). Does it bother you when we have to suspend members for non-payment of Dues?
4). Does the Lodge meet your expectations as a Fraternal Organization?
5). Do we need to do more to reach out to OUR community?
6). Are other Lodges having similar problems?
7). Do we need to do more to sell our Goal and Objectives to the public at-large?
8). When young men ask about the Lodge, do we try to provide current information?
9). Do we need to include public speakers who present current events information?
10). Are YOU willing to participate in discussions regarding these issues?
If you are interested in these issues, our LEO will lead a discussion at our next Lodge Meeting.
We meet the second Tuesday of every month at 7:30 pm.

Columbia Lodge

Welcome to the home page of Columbia Lodge #44, the second oldest operating Masonic Lodge in Ohio. Columbia Lodge is located in charming Miamitown, just west of Cincinnati. Our Lodge operates under the guiding Masonic principle of "Making good men better".

The Masons are the world’s largest and oldest men’s fraternity. Our traditions are more that three centuries in the making and are founded upon the virtues of Brotherly Love, Relief and Truth. These are the traditions that our founding fathers held dear and that good men still value today.

Masons come from all walks of life. Doctors, lawyers, businessmen, plumbers, farmers, and factory workers meet as equals to improve themselves and their communities.

Today there are over 130,000 Masons in Ohio who enjoy membership in 540 different local Lodges.

These men share a tradition of excellence which emphasizes personal integrity, commitment to family, and service to the community.

By becoming a member, you will walk in the footsteps of great men, perhaps like your father, grandfather, mentor, or George Washington, our nation’s father.

 Qualifications for Membership

If it is your desire to join, you should know that membership in Columbia Lodge and other Masonic Lodges is open to men who meet a few important qualifications:
